Phobias

I must mention that there can be no guarantee of specific results and that the results can vary.

A phobia is more than a simple fear — it’s a strong emotional reaction to a specific situation, object, or experience that feels difficult to control. Even when you know logically there’s no real danger, the body still reacts, often leading to avoidance and anxiety.

Common signs of a phobia include:

  • Fear that feels stronger than the situation warrants
  • Feeling unable to “switch it off”
  • Avoiding certain places or activities
  • Anxiety that interferes with everyday life

Types of Phobias I Can Help With:

  • Agoraphobia – fear of open spaces, crowds, or situations where escape may feel difficult.
  • Claustrophobia – fear of enclosed spaces such as lifts, tunnels, or small rooms.
  • Social Phobia – anxiety around social situations, public speaking, or eating in front of others.

Specific Phobias may include:

  • Spiders, insects, animals or birds
  • Needles, injections, or medical procedures
  • Balloons, Buttons or other specific objects

Hypnotherapy works by helping you change the automatic fear response, allowing you to feel calmer,
more in control, and free to live your life without avoidance.
